Company History

The DellsGroup began as a foodservice marketing business founded by David E. Parrish to provide both marketing and consulting services to the foodservice industry. Expansion of the business took place during the 1990's and by the year 2000, The DellsGroup had grown to encompass a broad spectrum of services including consulting, marketing, business planning, training, management and new business development services for select food industry clients interested in partnering to enter new markets and create long term growth opportunities for their businesses.

David Parrish

David Parrish began his forty-plus year career in the food industry in restaurant operations, and expanded his experience into food distribution and manufacturing. His knowledge in all aspects of the food industry serves as a basis for his broad industry perspective and expertise, and has led to an exceptional understanding of manufacturer, distributor, and operator markets in both the foodservice and retail food channels. His demonstrated success in sales and marketing management, as well as in operations management, was achieved in positions from Restaurant General Manager to Director of Marketing to VP of Foodservice with companies such as McDonalds Corp., Sara Lee, and The Federated Group.

Through his extensive experience in the food industry, Mr. Parrish has developed a results-oriented methodology focused on meeting objectives and long term profitability.

Jill Werts

Jill Werts brings a wealth of consulting and information industry expertise to her position at The DellsGroup. Her background in research and online information provides the backbone for The DellsGroup's leading-edge analysis of market conditions and new business development for its clients. Ms. Werts has worked in research, database management, and knowledge management at companies as diverse as Wm. M. Mercer, Dialog Information Corporation and Accenture. She holds a BA in Mathematics from Beloit College and an MLS from UCLA's Graduate School of Library and Information Science. 

Ashley Lovorn

Ashley Lovorn joined The DellsGroup in May 2009 as the company's Marketing Intern. After successfully completing her internship she was promoted to her current role as Marketing Coordinator. In addition to handling market research and strategy, she offers key business support and manages the company office. Her background is in the hospitality industry, with previous experience at The Walt Disney World Resorts and Holiday Inn Express. Ms. Lovorn holds a BS in Organizational Communication, with a minor in Marketing, from Murray State University in Murray, KY.
